Description
This 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was modified in early 2023 by Dakota Customs of Rapid City, South Dakota with a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat Redeye V8 that transmits power through a replacement eight-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in Sting Gray over black leather upholstery and is equipped with a Warn winch, LED lighting, a roof platform, 17″ aftermarket wheels, a Flowmaster exhaust system, Fox shocks, a three-piece body-color hardtop, a receiver hitch, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, an integrated off-road camera, navigation, and an Alpine audio system. The truck was acquired by the current owner in December 2022 and now shows 26k miles.
The truck is finished in Sting Gray Clearcoat and features a three-piece body-color hardtop and black wheel-arch flares. Exterior details are composed of LED headlights and taillights, fender-mounted LED auxiliary lights, Dodge Demon badging, a Rhino-Rack roof platform, dual black-finished exhaust outlets, a receiver hitch, and a factory steel front bumper with an integrated Warn winch in addition to LED auxiliary lights. The selling dealer notes holes in the front-bumper skid plate due to removal of a tow bar.
Matte-black 17″ Black Rhino wheels are mounted with 285/70 BFGoodrich HD-Terrain T/A KT tires, and a matching spare is affixed to a Mopar spare carrier mount. Fox Performance Series shocks have been fitted. The 6.2-liter Hemi V8 has a Redeye Hellcat–spec supercharger and was installed in place of the factory 3.6-liter V6 by Dakota Customs in March 2023. Additional work included fitting an intercooler and a revised powertrain control module as well as replacing the alternator, the starter, the fuel pump, and the radiator. A custom Flowmaster exhaust system also was installed.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a replacement ZF 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission, a Rock-Trac dual-range transfer case, and Dana Tru-Lok front and rear axles with 4.10:1 gearing.
