Sand Cars typically have high horse power V8, rear engines and long travel suspension. They have a full tube chassis but what sets them apart from a Sand rail is that they usually have full aluminum body panels and often times a windshield made of polycarbonate. Sand Cars can be found any where there is large sand dunes or sand drag strips.
